Olivia '24 Wins Provincial 'Volunteer of the Year' Award

Last week, Olivia Liu, a Grade 12 student at Grammar, was awarded a “Volunteer of the Year” award at Nova Scotia’s 50th Provincial Volunteer Awards event. As one of four youths who won this award this year, Olivia has shown commitment to volunteering in her communities. From being co-president of the Environmental Climate Change Organization (E.C.C.O.), a youth-run activism group that strives to give back to the Halifax community and advocates for important worldwide movements, to volunteering as a student teacher at Maritime Dance Academy for over two years, Olivia has dedicated time every week for the past number of years to giving back to her communities.
