Parents Endow Faculty PD
On May 30, HGS donors and volunteers gathered for a special reception at the home of Patricia McDermott, Board Chair, and Michael Gross. Parents, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends came together to celebrate the spirit of giving at HGS.
"It was a great night, and, for me, provided a wonderful opportunity to get to know parents I wouldn't otherwise have the chance to meet, as well as catch up with familiar faces," said PAC Secretary Jennifer Abbass.

The gorgeous evening was capped off by a special announcement from the Parents' Activities Committee. Walter Toth, PAC Chair, presented Headmaster Addley with a $20,000 cheque to create the new PAC Endowment for faculty professional development. This endowment will be held in perpetuity by the school and will be used to enhance faculty professional development at HGS for many years to come.
The evening was catered with many thanks to Raj Gupta and The Westin Nova Scotian.
